Does anyone know what the GPA cut-off for an interview was last year? How exactly are applicants selected for an interview?

I'm wondering if anyone is looking for a room mate who is starting meds this September, can you post a message on this forum? Does anyone else know of any upper year students who are looking for potential room mates? I'd like to live with two-three other medical students. How's the housing search coming?

 

I've just started and I was wondering what resources have you been using to find housing? I'm a little concerned because Ottawa is a 7 hour drive from where I live and since I am leaving for vacation in July that doesn't leave me much opportunity to go to Ottawa and see the housing. I know there are others in my situation or worse, so if anyone's seen anything nice that they aren't interested in for one reason or another, do you mind sharing where, some details such as price, and maybe contact info? I'm going to be starting meds in Sept at Ottawa and I'm looking for one or two (or three!) females to share an apartment with. I'm hoping to live in an area that is close to school. I'm from Alberta and I'm probably going down to Ottawa sometime in July to go look at apartments.
