WorkStudyWork
Since I live with my parents in Quebec City, going to McGill will mean I am going to need to spend a lot of money on lodging and food. I do not come from a very privileged family. My parents immigrated here and slowly made money. We can't afford any luxuries. I have a 31 R-Score in CEGEP. What are my chances of getting some sort of financial help?

What are my chances of getting some sort of financial help? Try the Aide financière aux études http://www.afe.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.asp I do not believe McGill will give you any bursary. I know they give a 3000$ for premeds students who have a r score of 35+. You can always take a loan in a bank and pay it after you've done school. Doctor_Strangelove
McGill almost automatically grants an entrance bursary (I got 3000$) to whoever applies and is deemed eligible for financial aid. However, you should first sign up with the quebec government's Aide financiere aux etudes: http://www.afe.gouv.qc.ca/
future_doc
Lodging and food will cost you about $4,000-5,000/yr for 8 months.
