Since I live with my parents in Quebec City, going to McGill will mean I am going to need to spend a lot of money on lodging and food.

I do not come from a very privileged family. My parents immigrated here and slowly made money. We can't afford any luxuries. I have a 31 R-Score in CEGEP. What are my chances of getting some sort of financial help?

Try the Aide financière aux études http://www.afe.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.asp

I do not believe McGill will give you any bursary. I know they give a 3000$ for premeds students who have a r score of 35+.

You can always take a loan in a bank and pay it after you've done school.
