On a side note, are there places to eat on campus (near the New Residence)? How far is the New Residence from the shuttle bus service? Does the shuttle bus directly drop us off at the health sciences center (or are there different stops at different buildings)? There is a small little cafe in New Rez with very limited food but right across the street is the Jock Turcotte building which is the student centre with the cafeteria. Let me warn you, the University of Ottawa is certainly not known for its great caf!!! There are lots of restaurants around as well that wouldn't but much more than a 10 min walk. As for the Shuttle bus, it may stop a couple of times along the way to pick up other students but the final stop where everyone gets off is right in front of the doors at Roger Guindon (the Health Sciences Bldg.). you won't be able to miss it.
