Just wanted to make sure no one submitted it past that, as the time 11:59 pm has been floating around... I called the admission office today to confirm that.

Yes, that's correct. I have a feeling the instructions on the website are really for the 9pm Webapp "cycling" time. You MIGHT be okay with submitting later.

 

But this is what the admissions office said on phone and I wouldn't take my chances if you're ready to submit.

This McGill app is the biggest monster of all medical school apps known to mankind... It's also up there in terms of confusing application systems. At least we don't have secondaries and that sorta thing...

if you bother to check out http://www.twitter.com/aedmedmcgill you'll see that you can submit it until midnight but there's a possibility the system won't back it up. if you have no other choice but to submit it past 9pm, then you're not totally screwed

It's midnight, Montreal time. Anything before that and you are fine.

omg, I almost had a heart attack when I saw this post!! I swear I searched EVERYWHERE looking for the specific application deadline time..couldn't find anything except on this forum people were saying 11:59pm Montreal time..i knew i should have called them! lol anyhow i submitted mine @ 11:30pm ..and yes according to their twitter as someone already posted...

I'm surprised the thread went this long without someone clarifying that the Nov 15 deadline is for the combined degree programs. MD/PhD and MD/MBA.

 

If you are a university applicant it's Jan, and if cegep it's March.

It's not a bad idea to clarify OOP in the title tho. It might create confusions as IP applicants start viewing this board as we approach their deadline.

For those that think they have zero chance, I was in the same boat last year. I only applied because ontariostudent told me to. And compared to the other app fees it was minimal in cost. And now here I am.
