tooty
Our elective program is a popular program locally within Canada and Internationally as well. Electives with the Department of Radiology are offered in a two or four week duration, during which the individual will be matched with a Preceptor as well as rotate through a variety of radiology departments. The applicants do not have the option of selecting their preceptors or specialty as space is limited. All our preceptors are patient and knowledgeable as well as skillful in their teaching methods. Individuals are also encouraged to attend the Academic ½ day that our Residents attend in addition any of the Radiology Grand Rounds that are scheduled during their attendance. Please note that the months of September to November, January, March and April have high volume of applications. It is recommended that if you intend on applying for an elective during this period of time, you also include alternative dates that have a lower volume of applicants. All visiting student MUST be in their final year of medical school, no exceptions. We are not accepting any Postgrad Elective applications for the months: September to November, January, March or April. Can't choose your preceptor, but it looks like you can't go wrong with any of them
