GradApp2011
Hi, I just wanted to see if anyone knows whether the admissions committee ever looks at our GPA, reference letters, or extra-curriculars after we complete the MMI? From the admissions website (see below) it seems like admissions decisions are only based on the MMI (80%) and the personal narrative (20%). I think this is good news since my GPA isn't that great, but then it also means that there is a huge emphasis on our performance on the MMI. If you guys have any input that would be great. thanks! From the website... "For those of you that are invited to our multiple mini-interviews, note that a final rank order list (which includes those who will receive an offer of admission and those who will be placed on a waiting list) is calculated as follows: For all cohorts (except the Non-Traditional Pathway): Multiple Mini-Interviews: 80%; Personal Narrative: 20%." Eva1987
Does anyone know when the decision regarding admission will be released for IP? Is it a matter of weeks or months after the interview? Thank you;)
future_doc
GA, these items got you to the MMI and are irrelevant thereafter - unless you are in a tie. Eva, the best guide will be the timing of the past, i.e., end of first week of May.
