It is a 3yr residency in usa and either 5yrs or 2+1 in Canada. So if I did a 3-yr ER residency, would I be board eligible for anything in Ontario? Or in any other province? How about if I do a 3yr FM residency? I understand then in Ontario I would be eligible for canadian FM boards, but I would need to find work (for 12months) under somebody else's supervision first? And if I wanted to do a 1yr ER fellowship it would be unlikely since it would be competitive since I would not be a traditional applicant. So any help? Thanks.
