enmeds
When the interviews occur, do the interviewers only focus on the sketch if they are concerned or confused and if not make most of the interview about other general aspects to determine what type of person you are? macballa
On the same lines, on average how many questions are applicants asked (questions and follow ups to answers) in total?
Addy K
You can't really put a number on it, as it depends on way too many things (e.g., how long your responses were, did you say something that the interviewers found interesting and start asking you about it for 5 minutes, etc.). It will be 40-45 minutes in MOST cases, although shorter interviews are not unheard of. To the OP, the activities they focus on might be because they find it interesting or maybe they want to clarify something, it's hard to say exactly why they are asking you something. From my experience they just want to know what kind of person you are by asking you about your activities, some personal questions and possibly some ethics - just like any other standard interview. Ottawa might be a bit different in that they might be a bit more confrontational and probing, but again it depends on the panel.
