DiscoInferno
Hello, I was looking at the uofa med website, and noticed that the Prereq Gpa counts for 0 points instead of the usual 15. Does this mean they do not consider the prereq gpa for students applying to med now? http://www.med.ualberta.ca/education/ume/admissions/dofm_selection.cfm Thanks
imperfection
This is true! They only look to see if you have completed the prerequisite courses but they do not look at your prereq GPA anymore (only cGPA).
LostLamb
They discontinued calculating a separate pre-req gpa 2 years ago. Now, the pre-reqs are only calculated as part of the overall gpa. However, you still need to have the pre-reqs to matriculate.
