U of T CAP Invite

I noticed on the U of T website that this years GPA cut off was 3.68 compared to 3.63 last year. That seems like a pretty significant increase.

My GPA is 3.74 and I wasn't sent a CAP invite....

 

I guess my references must have been terrible? I wouldn't have thought so since I know them both personally. Did anyone else have this experience?

I'm not applying this year, but will be the following year. It looks like the GPA trend is going rocket high...

 

I've actually asked Queens for their cutoffs last year, and surprisingly they ranged from 3.99 - 3.48 sGPA and 3.97 - 2.90 cGPA.

I agree with ankur, you should contact U of T to make sure. Did you get an ORPAS verification form with the 3.74 as your SUB GPA???

Oh, lovely. The ORPAS verification form was sent to the wrong address. I discovered that two classes were incorrectly added to my GPA, bringing my GPA from 3.74 to 3.65. I sure wish I could have discovered this error in time. I am so disappointed. I tried to contact U of T and ORPAS but I have the feeling nothing can be done at this point.

I say you should still try. You've got nothing to lose at this point.

I know you can't divulge the details but anyone who's done CAP before is there any general advice you can give?

How did everyone find the CAP? I thought it was challenging. Now I see why they say you can't prepare for it.
