w01313ly
Currently, I'm in my 3rd of 5 years at an English medical school. I was born in England and have no attachment to Vancouver except my girlfriend's family is there. I was wondering if anyone knew how, after I graduate I can become a Dr in BC? So far as I understand, I do the MCCEE, then CaRMS. But I don't understand how to apply as an IMG because it says under provincal requirements that I need to be a Canadian resident to be considered to do CaRMS I got that info from http://www.carms.ca/eng/r1_eligibility_prov_e.shtml - towards bottom of page. If anyone can help me and tell me roughly step by step I would greatly appreciate it. Looking in my third year gives me 2-3 years to figure it out. MD2015
If you are serious about your g/f, if she lives in Canada, marry her for starters. This will give you residency leading to citizenship.
