smurray
Hi everybody, I have been accepted to both the University of Western Ontario and Dalhousie University medical schools and I am looking for a little help/advice on the decision. I would love to attend both schools, so some help would be appreciated. Thanks,
tooty
uwo if your family is in ontario. dalhousie if your family is out east. lean towards uwo because it's close to other med schools where you can do electives.
GGGSaint
As tooty said, it comes down to practical considerations. Also, read this thread with regards to UWO: http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40451&page=1 Nevertheless, Dal is pretty great too...no chance you can go wrong either way. HBP
Pretty much any choice between schools is due to personal/subjective reasons, unless it's between big differences in the school's mandate (i.e. 3 vs 4 years). All Canadian schools are great. It isn't like the US where you have private vs public, and clear differences in rankings.
NLengr
Whatever city you think you'd be happier in. The difference in education will be close to negligible. Personally, I would rather live in Halifax than London.
lkthlttr
I agree with the others in this thread, go wherever you think you're going to be happiest on a personal level. You'll get a high quality education either way.
