dedemed
Dear all, I am applying for US medical schools and I am writting my personal statement. I am in my second year of MSc Reseach based at UofT and I want to make a big deal out of my graduate experience and how it prepared me for medical schools. I know about independent learning and critical thinking skills. Plus due to clinical nature of my research I worked with surgeons and physicians, but what else do you think I should put on my personal statement?? I know some of you are expert on this so anyy thoughts is really really appreciated. THanks a lot, dedemed
EoE
Throw a little empathy in there from the clinical encounters, whatever they may be... and some communication skills through writing and presenting and you are set. There are probably a lot more but my brain is not cooperating tonight.
