I recently rented a spacious 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, Townhouse in Varsity (the community just North of the U of C) and am looking for one other roommate. I am looking to sublet to a female roommate who is also attending the U of C in the Doctor of Medicine Program. The complex has a non-smoking and no pets policy. The townhouse is in a beautifully developed, quiet neighbourhood, and is close to all of the amenities. One of the things that really attracted me to this property as opposed to others was the balance between common and personal living space. Some other features include: - 1300 ft2 of living space - 2 upstairs bedrooms - 2 bathrooms (1 full bath upstairs, and a half bath on the main floor) - Kitchen filled with new appliances - Hardwood floors in bedrooms, carpeted main - Slate patio backing onto landscaped park - Wood burning fireplace - En-suite laundry in fully finished basement - 20 minute commute from door to door via bus (but I will probably driving to the hospital and willing to carpool! ) Rent: I'm willing to negotiate on the rent. If you're willing to help furnish the common areas, $600/month +utilities. Otherwise for fully-furnished $700/month +utilities. You are responsible for furnishing your bedroom.
