scissortail
I'm debating between these two textbooks. Which one did you guys find more helpful for gross anatomy? I already have the atlas.
Renin
Moores. But don't get the "essentials" - that's for your allied health and undergrads.
Lactic Folly
LOL. I have the essentials. But also the benefit of strong preclerkship anatomy teaching
scissortail
Moores. But don't get the "essentials" - that's for your allied health and undergrads. Oh I didn't even realize there are two versions of Moore's. I just looked it up on amazon. You are talking about the Clinically Orientated Anatomy right? Lactic Folly
I had both Netter's (drawings) and Rohen (photos of prosections), as we had bellringer exams. Might want to go down to the bookstore/library and see which atlases you prefer, as there are others out there. As an aside, has anyone used the Google body browser? NLengr
I used Grays in first year anatomy. But as a fourth year and a resident, I used/use Netters. Now I focus more on spatial orientation, than knowing the name of every single vessel and nerve.

thebouque
I used big Moore (read the chapters on thorax, abdomen, pelvis, head/neck. Only tables for msk). I also went through both Netter's and Rohen. I also have big Gray's as a reference, and I read some Rouvière too, but I'm an anatomy freak. However, some of my friends were using gray's for students and it seems more ''user friendly'' than big Moore, and it has better images ( I think most images in Moore are from Grant's dissector and I'm not a fan of that book). In our lab we had copies of Clemente and it's a nice alternative to Netters with colors that are more realistic.

idiopathic
My vote's for Gray's! Very comprehensive as a reference. Also used Rohen's and Netter's (text+flaschards) for better visualization and bellringer prep.

Try Atlas of Anatomy by Gilroy; http://ebookstore.thieme.com/product/atlas-anatomy Also, Netter's Atlas of Anatomy is good; http://www.amazon.com/Atlas-Human-Anatomy-Frank-Netter/dp/0914168819
