mikeb88
Hi Everyone, I cancelled 2 courses in my undergrad before the penalty date. They still appear on my transcript, but aren't given any weighting. However, when I try to input them into OSMAS I'm forced to give them a weight. When I do this, OSMAS counts them as 0's and my GPA drops drastically. Do I need to put these courses in? Is there a way to include them without them counting against my GPA? Thanks, Mike
RichardParker
Don't include them. Only input courses you received a grad for or else - like you mentioned - OMSAS will give you a 0.

mikeb88
Thanks for clearing that up! They were 6-unit and 9-unit McMaster courses so they were weighed much more heavily than any of my other courses. I got really freaked out when my OSMAS GPA was 1.5 points lower than what I had calculated!!! My GPA looks much better now that I've deleted those courses
HopeToBeGreen
Look here: http://www.ouac.on.ca/common-questions/common-questions-omsas/ at question #3 under "During Application". It answers your question.
