vcklo
Hi all, getting quite confused by the technical hurdles Alberta has. Apparently, we have to check our Alberta email address (which they gave me just for applying to their school) for updates and notifications, using our CCID and password. I found the email website using Google: https://webmail.ualberta.ca/imp/login.php but I cannot login using my CCID and password (which work for BearTracks). I'm not even sure which server I should choose from the dropdown list, or if their whole switching-from-central-mail-to-google-app is affecting my ability to log in, and if I have to switch over. Very confused. If anyone can provide some direction so I can finally login to my new email, that'd be great.
imperfection
They've switched over to the gmail system now, so try just logging into your email from gmail.com. Enter your email as ccid@ualberta.ca and DON'T enter your password on the gmail main page, click enter, and you will be taken to a page where you can authenticate (enter your ccid + password)
Asta
Once it is all set up, I would recommend setting up mail forwarding to your primary account.
