99Problems Posted October 13, 2011 Report Share Posted October 13, 2011 Topic. In canada all the med schools are very similar and pretty much standardized. In the states there are some schools that are just plain better than others. If I were to go to the states, I'd probably want to go to a top school like harvard or hopkins. So going out to all the people who've had first hand experience with this sort of thing, do the med schools in the states look at the writing sample at all? Do I have a chance?
