tb123
I was looking for feedback from anyone who had applied, interviewed or matriculated at U Minnesota. Specifically, how friendly they are to Canadians, what my chances would be, and their opinion on the early decision program. I grew up close to MN and because I have poor research experience (only started volunteering in a lab during this year with no likely pubs, on the editorial board of our school's undergrad journal, and will do complete a thesis next year) its the US school I am most interested in, as I feel this lack of research will hold me back at some of the more prestigious schools. For reference, I am in 3rd year, have a 37Q MCAT and a 3.93 AMCAS GPA, with very good ECs (intensive coaching for 5 years, 3 years of clinical shadowing, hospital volunteering, Medical First Responder, president of a large student charity, intramurals, other clubs) Thanks for any info
