chocolate_chip
Hi everyone, I am a student from pakistan and I am engaged to a canadian citizen. I want to apply to mcmaster, but I am very confused on what kind of applicant I will be. I have my degree in psychology, but from a non canadian school, good gpa and ec's. I will have my pr card but i dont think in time for applications, so i guess i will be an international student at least for the first year. do i stand a chance? should i wait till i have a pr card then apply? even so, they will see i have only been there a short time because my undergrad was done outside of canada. very frustrated, any replies will be appreciated. Genemo
In general, international students have very small chance of getting admitted...unless you are super, super competitive, like straight A+ in all your classes, super high MCAT and lots of volunteer experience and ace the interview. And did you see the tuition fee for mcmaster as international student? Its very scary... If you are not that competitive and not willing to pay that tuition, maybe wait until you become a PR and then apply.
