medguy5367
Two questions: 1. Is it possible to practice medicine part-time? (15 to 30 hours per week) 2. Which specialties are best suited for this?

medguy5367
Thanks for the responses guys! (I have asked med students and another common response is "Psychiatry") Anyway, what I am wondering is - what determines whether a specialty can be part-time or not? Eg. why can a pathologist or radiologist work 30 hours per week, but a cardiologist cannot??
