Long term committment

Recommended Posts

It really depends on the activity and the subjective nature of all med school admission committees. Personally I think that a year is the minimum for an activity to be considered long term. Now that depends on what kind of activity.. i mean if you decided to take up learning the guitar.. but quit after a year I see no point in even mentioning it. However, if you spent a year volunteering at a long term care home that carries a lot more weight.. to me anyways.

Hope that helps,

Good luck,
