Guest JD
Does anybody know approximately how many students each school (in Ontario, at least) accepts before it is able to fill the entering class? I heard something about Toronto needing about 240 to fill 190 spots, but don't know about the other schools.
Guest strider2004
In my year it took about 128 offers to fill 80 spots and I BELIEVE it took about 140 offers to fill 90 spots this year. They went through the entire waiting list this year.
Guest AndyStew
I'm not sure of the exact numbers at Mac, but I know some people who are now studying medicine here where initially not accepted, and then were offered spots later in the summer. It really all depends on the year, the number of people applying, and the number of spots available. This year and last year are poor examples as new spots where opened up throughout the summer. Therefore, it's hard to say if the same numbers from this year are at all applicable in a general sense.
