Colour blind medical student and specialities

PET is fundamentally black and white (all you are doing is measuring the amount of uptake). Some people just like the hot/cool colour scheme instead of grayscale.. most commonly used when fusing with black/white CT, but you could read the PET on its own as well.

 

However, I have heard of vision tests for ophthalmologists.. not terribly familiar with what they are looking for though.
