medical_stud
Hi pm101, I'm wondering if anyone knows any good reading material for colour blind medical students. Something with a focus on speciality/residency selection would be fantastic.
tooty
if you go into radiology, don't subspecialize in PET/CT.

Lactic Folly
PET is fundamentally black and white (all you are doing is measuring the amount of uptake). Some people just like the hot/cool colour scheme instead of grayscale.. most commonly used when fusing with black/white CT, but you could read the PET on its own as well. However, I have heard of vision tests for ophthalmologists.. not terribly familiar with what they are looking for though.
