hatty
Does anyone know what the spread of successful applicant notification is? Eg. How many are told in may, how many in june? Also, how many applicants compose the wait list? And is is fair to assume only the first third waitlisted have a chance? Thanks

Thanks The waitlist would depend on the pool you're in. http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/medicine/alumni/media/Class_2015_Statistics_for_web.pdf If you're IP, there seems to be very little waitlist movement (only 5 declined acceptances). OOP, they pretty much go through most of the waitlist. Considering the fairly predictable waitlist movement, I would guess the spread of notifications will not matter too much. IP and waitlisted- probably won't get accepted. OOP and waitlisted- probably will get accepted. (i.e. no outright rejection = waitlist-> probable acceptance)
