NadinMed
Hi everybody I wanted to know around how many days a week will we be having classes? Is it from monday to friday? Also, is it most probably early classes (8h-8h30) and the days finishes early? I am just curious about the approximate number of hours we will be having classes. Thanks a lot for sharing

Geekom
Yeah, it's usually from 8h30 to 2h30 or 3h30 with a 1h lunch An a 10 minutes break every hour. That includes lectures, labs and small groups. The first year is about 75 credits on 3 semesters

godfreyc
Does that schedule take into the curriculum/other changes expected for the Class of 2016?
Geekom
Does that schedule take into the curriculum/other changes expected for the Class of 2016? I know they were talking about making changes to the curriculum, but I'm not sure they will be in effect for the Class of 2016. But if anything, I don't think the amount of hours will be changed. It will most likely be the ratio of lectures to small groups and clinical immersions that will be changed.
mcgstudent
There are lots of information in the Dr. Robert Primavesi powerpoint file. The file is embedded in this web page: http://www.medicine.mcgill.ca/ugme/curriculum/orientation_en.htm There are class of 2015 statistics, curriculum and French requirement for anglophone students, etc.
