Head Squeeze
My math prof has asked me to meet him in his office to talk about the reference letter I asked him to write. Honestly, I've never been to a professor for a 1:1 chat and I am kinda anxious. Can I have some suggestions about what to say and what not to say (except for the obvious things)? Any other tips would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.
future_doc
You want to bring your CV, transcript and any motivational essay you wrote for your application(s) so he knows who you are and he can fill in the gap. Be prepared for him to ask you to prepare a draft LOR. Be personable and communicate well as if you were meeting adcom so he cancomment on your developed skills in this regard.
