Crane
I applied to a thesis-based Masters program and will be meeting with my potential supervisor soon. What are some of the things I should ask him during the 'interview'?
kpm
Ask about potential for publications? Does he try to promote Master's students to publish? What about attending/presenting at conferences? Opportunities for collaboration on other projects? Ask if you can speak to some of the students in the lab. If you get them alone, you can get a better idea of what the lab/supervisor is like. VERY IMPORTANT!

page_matrix
Inquire about funding opportunities too, and of course any questions on their research program (which means if you haven't already, brush up on their work before going in)
war485
definitely ask about what is expected of you. i.e. how many hours expected per day or week, how much time needed for research, and some profs actually expect a certain number of publications (some profs really pump for them!).
