Can I apply to canadian med schools that require an MCAT if my MCAT score is "pending"? I mean, let's say I write the MCAT in April 06. Can I apply to med school for the 06/07 school year, or must I wait for my results?

If you are applying for entry in 2007/08 (that would be this upcoming cycle), the latest you can write the MCAT is August 2006.

If you write the April 2007 MCAT, the earliest you can apply is for entry in 2008/09.

Of course, this is only if you are applying to medical schools that require the MCAT. You can apply to Ottawa and McMaster at any time without any MCAT results.

I actually think that there will be monthly mcat administrations starting january 07. You might want to look into the details of that to find out if the results would be ready by application time.
