I do not yet which residency I would like to enter, but I have some ideas. I am trying to decide what I should do this summer (summer of first year). Should I do research or can I simply take off and do medical work overseas? I am just worried that research is necessary if one wants to be competitive come Carms. Anyone have any ideas?
