After CARMS, I don't think many of us are still in the mood for lots of hard work during elective time, since there is plenty of opportunity for hard work in residency. For many of us, a post-CARMs elective will be our last chance to travel the world. So have you guys heard about easy-going doc's in Asia or Europe who will allow little work, and not care what you do with the rest of the time?
