Chances?

Recommended Posts

I just finished first year undergraduate at Western. First term went alright but second term went brutal due to finals (had family issues but not too big and made me sort of hard to concentrate for finals).

I don't know if I still have a chance or have a decent shot since many schools see your cGPA.

Here is my grades for this year:

First semester:

Bio 84 (0.5 credits) 3.7

Physics 81 (0.5 credits) 3.7

Calc 80 (0.5 credits) 3.7

Chem 82 (0.5 credits) 3.7

Second Semester

Bio 68 (0.5 credits) 2.3

Physics 85 (0.5 credits) 3.9

Calc 64 (0.5 credits) 2.0

Chem 63 (0.5 credits) 2.0

Psych 75 (1.0 credits) 3.0

I really messed up second semester big time which killed my gpa for sure. Do I still have a chance if I kill next year or kill the next two years? I really hate how they do not take the best two years.

I'm worried sick about this :(. My average in percent wise is around 75% though and 3.1 gpa. I know I can improve next year but this might just be the year to ruin everything.
