Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Thought I would start one of these threads so people can have a better idea of the stats of those accepted and what not. Good luck to everyone!

**Edit: let's try to keep it standardized

1. Applied to: (PT or OT or both & schools)

3. Accepted/waitlisted/rejected to:

4. sGPA

5. EC's if you want to share

Thanks!

Accepted: Mac PT, Mac OT, U of T PT

Waitlisted: Western PT (lower 3rd, so no hope here)

Rejected: UofA PT, Queen's PT

Subgpa: 3.75

Relevant ECs: pt clinic, SCI exercise rehab, Stroke rehab

MMI: thought it went well, found it a fun way of doing an interview, i felt relaxed and was just myself during the interview

CAP: felt stressed, forgot ear plugs so for 2 hours sounded like constant down pour, finished with a major headache, didnt like that i didnt have enough time to read over my answers, character limit was also quite annoying

Very honoured to be accepted! I'm very happy and excited!

Firmly Accepting: U of T

Hey guys!

Applied to: Mac, U of T, UWO PT

Accepted: UofT and UWO

Rejected: Mac

sGPA - so they can't convert my grades properly cuz I went to a US undergrad but at U of T and Mac my sgpa was 3.87, at U of T 3.80

I'm probably accepting U of T offer, so that free's a spot at Western

Congrats Philly, looks like your hard work paid off!

Any Idea where you want to go? Mac or U of T?

Two completely different learning styles

slightly leaning towards U of T because of the good network they have

I do want to work in Toronto in the future so I'm thinking it would be a good idea to go to school there.

I do love mac though. I did my undergrad there and feel very attached to the campus.

I guess I'll have to do some thinking for the next week!

Congrats as well Ultimate!

Glad to hear we all got good news!

Lots of success on here! Congrats

Accepted: Queen' PT, UWO PT

Rejected: Mac PT

sGPA: 3.89

ECs: 600hrs as student kin, 5 yrs varsity sports, 2 yrs coaching, few months volunteering with PTs and Chiros, few conference posters and presentations, published article in major PRed journal.

I'll be choosing queens, so that's another UWO spot opening up.
