youngdad
Anybody have examples of great UBC family med electives? I want to do a 4 week elective and I have nothing to go on. I don't want to pick a dud. Thanks,

medisforme
Hospitalist rotation at KGH gives you a ton of autonomy and learning with a lot of IM type stuff. A lot of hours for a FM elective; have to work double shifts (0800 - 2400, 1600-2400 is ER and ward consults) twice a week as well as 2 out of 4 weekends (0800-1600). However, you get to run the show with your patients, and is a great elective for getting a reference letter.
LeBronto2019
I have no elective exposure at all but personally, I'd love to do an elective at St. Paul's based on my future career interests. Anyone have experiences there?
