what if i don't take general chem?

those three schools don't have pre-reqs, so not taking chem is fine.

 

However, go to the other schools you want to apply for and double check that you're ok - for instance, Ottawa needs certain courses.

However the MCAT you will need to take for many will of require to know the material covered in that course and beyond though.

If I were you I would take it just to widen my options, as it's not guaranteed that you'll get into any of those three schools. Plus it should help ALOT when you eventually need to start studying for the MCAT.

You're going to have to write the MCAT, so you're going to have to learn everything anyway. Might as well take it and make life easier.
