Guest ComplacentTragedy
Hi Guys: I'm sorry to bring this up (as I'm sure it has been asked) But I've been trying to figure out how to calculate my overall average under the UofA system. Is it simply add up all the numbers and divide by classes? Are IB courses not part of the calculations?? The reason I ask is because, well, the numbers dont' seem to add up for me. And now I'm confused. Thank you very much in advance.
Guest mg83
Hey, I'm not 100% sure about this but I think that the GPAs are calculated by multiplying the course grade by the units of course weight instead of just adding all the numbers together and dividing, you have to multiply the number by its credit weight or something. Someone showed this to me a few years back but i dont' remember exactly how it works. I just know that the whole add everything together and divide by the number of classes isn't how they do it. Hope that helps a little
Guest Lactic Folly
IB courses would count if you had to use the grades for prereqs.
