future_doc
Lots of individualized attention as there is only 1 student in the French program!

Robin Hood
I thought you studied medicine at concordia? I applied to this school. But they rejected me preinterview. They said I should have perfect grades from kindergarden to university. So even if I completed an undergraduate doctorate in Astrophysicalbiologicalchemicalmathematics (which is worth 270 credits) with a GPA of 5.0/4.0 at Harvard (which gives a University R Score of 55), they said that I still suck because my CEGEP was mediocre, and that a bad student one day is a bad student everyday. The other Quebec schools sent me the same letter, but UdeM had the the words "Justice and equity" written at the buttom of the letter. Looking at extenuing circumpstances and forgiving past grades is for the losers at McGill Med School according to them (which accepted me preinterview). future_doc
Well yes, I am studying medicine in English at Concordia and in French - with English texts - at Bishop's. As I prefer independent self-directed learning, I have never attended lectures at either, and luckily, exams have been on different days. I will soon be f_d, M.D., M.D.

future_doc
With great difficulty. But in life, all things are possible, especially the impossible. You can listen to lectures on ipod, watch them on ipad, ask questions by iphone and receive tutoring by imail.

future_doc
Not true, he had a deferral. And I was the last applicant to be accepted.
Robin Hood
Not true, he had a deferral. And I was the last applicant to be accepted. So, the waitlist was exhausted at one of the schools? That leave a huge wave of preinterview rejections.
future_doc
Yes. The truth is that hardly anybody knows these universities have medical schools, and they don't advertise these facts.
