Guest AJ
Hi Everyone! I'm just wondering if it's possible for someone with just CEGEP to apply to dentistry. I thought you can only apply for dentistry after going through a few years of undergrad. Thanks!
Guest LestatZinnie
well..here in quebec they have Pre-Med and Pre-dent programs, which means that they do the Pre-dent/med program out of high school for 2 years, and, voila! you're in dental/medical school. Those people constitute about 1/3 of my current class, so there are quite a few 19 & 20 yr olds running around here. Very sweet deal cuz they'll be doctors and dentists at 24 yrs old, or less. for out of province people, you need undergrad degree.
Guest AJ
Thanks for your quick reply! I've heard of the pre-dent program, but this person I met claimed that he did 2 years of CEGEP, followed by 4 years of dentistry. Is that possible? Thank 'ya!
