gsh1616
cCPA:3.31 GPA in the final 2.5 years of undergrad: 3.85, 3.68, 3.62, 3.80, 3.43 high grades in ANTH, ANAT, PHYG, PSYC, and movement sciences. 70-80hr PT volunteer undergrad teaching assistant in two anatomy courses I am interested in PT schools in Canada, and in Australia. What are some of the PT schools that value GPA of the final 2 years in these countries? Thanks.
try
Depending on what exactly your GPA is in your last 60 credits will give you an idea of your chances. If it is higher than 3.72 you have a chance of getting in. If it is lower than that, you can apply to Queen's and hope they really like your personal submission. Either way, if PT is what you want to do, apply anyway. It will be a great learning experience for if you have to reapply. In Ontario, Mac, U of T, and Western all look only at your last 60, while Queen's looks at both sGPA and cGPA.
surferdoc
Have you looked at U of A? You could be competitive there. You're OOP I assume, but they do take a fair amout of OOPs. The campus there is great!
Guest Physioprospect
U of A only takes like 10 OOP students actually and the cutoff last year for an interview was a GPA of 3.92...
karla145
Does anyone know how Queens PT and OT weight SubGPA and CumGPA and what the cutoffs were for 2012? Do they look at subGPA more than CumGPA or vice versa? my SubGPA is 3.63 and my CumGPA is 3.
