Good ortho reference text?

Good ortho handbook to carry around on me?

(elective coming up)

Thanks for the input.

Carry: Handbook of fractures

Reference: Netter's concise ortho (You can impress staff if you know your anatomy) + Hoppenfeld surgical approaches (again for the OR, its $$$). Also online check orthobullets.com, it will give you a quick summary of most topics and it is easy to read.

Enjoy your elective

You can find most of the real core texts (ex Harrison's) as electronic books at your library. That way you can access them on elective but not pay.

there are a few ortho ebooks in the resource section of the cma.ca website.

anatomy knowledge is definitely helpful. for me, the best resource to learn anatomy is 3D body found in anatomy.tv again found on the cma.ca website. you paid for that damn subscription. you may as well get the most out of it.
