Second iteration after matching?

Hi all,

 

There seems to be some mixed comments out there with regards to this; I'd just like to ask if anyone knows for sure if it's possible or not to enter the second iteration/switch programs (before July 1st) after matching in the first iteration? And if so, how?

That's absolutely no. You cannot re-enter CaRMS for the R-1 match once you've already matched to an R-1 program.

 

In order to switch, you'd have to contact your program to be released, and then contact the program you want to go to to accept you. This is done outside CaRMS.

Sadly no. You have to tough it out in your program till next year before trying to switch
