Guest stallion001
What are the advantages of doing a residency in general dentistry (hospital based at UofT)?
Guest Kicoati
I believe some of the people who choose to do a residency is because they want to specialize. I think at least some of the specialty programs (OMS for sure as I was told) would highly prefer applicants who have hospital dentistry experience. Guest TheDDSDude
I think also GPR allows you to get more practical experience in the profession of dentistry, so you can simply become better in the real world. It also allows you more chances to screw up without costing you too much...hehe.. I think in New York State, they are trying to pass a rule that if you do GPR you don't have to write the licensing exam.
