DNA101
I am a second year medical student in Quebec, I am planning on doing a master of public health in the united states next year, but it's too late to apply , so I was thinking after getting my MD degree (after clinical years), is it a good idea? I heard that John Hopkins and Berkeley had very good programs, do you have any other information about scholarships/admissions etc in those programs? Thank you for your help! Edict
Yes. The best programs in the US are: Harvard JHU Columbia Yale Berkeley Dartmouth After you get your MD, you are eligible for the 1 year MPH instead of 2 years so that is the biggest benefit of finishing your MD first. 1 year MPH saves time and saves tuition fees.
