CFMS / medical student societies

Are any of you ever bothered by fact that the above organizations claim to speak for all of us? Does it ever make you uncomfortable when the claim is put forth "medical students say X! We think Y and Z!"?

 

Obviously this implies many more general questions about representation, but I can only imagine what a diverse range of opinions about [insert everything here] exists among our cohort of medical students, and yet all that information is lost when an executive of a dozen people decides to profess that which we all think.
