Transcript must be sent by October 1st

On the OMSAS website it says that "Applicants who have attended or are currently enrolled in an Ontario university must use the Transcript Request Form (TRF) with the application." Since it takes up to 5 business days for the school to process these requests, does that mean that we should submit the OMSAS application at least a week before the October 1st deadline?

Filling out the TRF and submitting by Oct 1 fulfills the transcript requirement despite the fact that OMSAS will not receive the hard copy until about a week later.

 

If you attended a university outside of Ontario your transcript must be received (hard copy) by Oct 1 at OMSAS so that request must be made at least a week in advance, separate from the date that you will submit your entire application.
