mmmcoffee
Ottawa is all about the GPA, I was wondering if anyone had heard of people with low GPA's (but still making cutoffs) in the French stream being invited for an interview? Just curious.
Savac
Yes, it's possible if they're above the cutoff...
mmmcoffee
Yes, it's possible if they're above the cutoff... Sorry I know it sounds silly, but I really hadn't heard of anyone being invited unless they had at least a 3.
rmorelan
Sorry I know it sounds silly, but I really hadn't heard of anyone being invited unless they had at least a 3.8 The cut off is the cut off Rare for someone to advertise they just hit the minimum
FML.
Does anyone have an idea as to what the cut-off looks like for the French Stream? PS : If I get in with the minimum, I will gladly put it as my signature. I don't see what's wrong with getting in with the lowest GPA of the class. It just means your ECs/interviewing skills were that much stronger
airborne
The cut-off for the French Stream for those who live in Ottawa/Gatineau is 3,6 And yes, I know many students that got in last year in the French stream with 3,6/3,
goingplaid
If you are French and not from ONT/QC the cut off last year was 3.5 There were 16 people who applied for 8 spots.... I think (don't quote me)
FML.
Wow! Unfortunately, I am not in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. I live in Montreal, so I suppose the cut-off will be much higher... Thanks for the info guys
