Ottawa vs. McMaster

Hi everyone,

I am seeking some advice. I have just received a call from admissions at Ottawa (YEAH!) and I have a limited amount of time to decide between McMaster and Ottawa's medical programs. (I have already sent a provisional acceptance to McMaster)

I have researched both schools and know that there are pros and cons to each, but would sincerely appreciate any inside information regarding the programs at these two schools. Has anyone had learning and/or work-related experience in both environments?

I was just wondering-----when do classes start??

 

I couldn't find any dates in the acceptance package except having to be there for an orientation on Sept. 2nd.

 

Besides sending in our final transcript to OMSAS, the 1000$ deposit and acceptance to Ottawa, the immunization record to Ottawa by August, and applying for govnt financial aid prior, is there anything else needed to be done??
