Amount of time to answer questions

Just out of curiosity, how much time do most of you give yourself before answering the interviewer's question?

 

Questions like "tell me about X experience" usually requires little time to answer. But for oddball questions that stump you, how much time would you allow before either giving a BS answer or conceding "I don't know?"
