GoatFace2
I just matched to family medicine at University of Toronto and I'm quite certain that I want to go the +1 ER route. I was wondering: 1) Are there any specific locations that would work best for someone that wants to do ER? Should I try to get into the same location as the +1 ER program director? 2) Are they still looking for the same qualities in the +1 ER people as they did for the FRCP? I.e. leadership role on CV, research, other academic activities. Thank you!
Dany
not from uoft but remember TWH site has like 6 months of elective, at least thats what I was told during my FM interview there 2yrs ago. are they looking for the same qualities as FRCP, maybe; are they expecting you to HAVE the same credentials leadership/research etc as those FRCPs, definitely not so no sweat.
