dbz
Dear all, I will be moving to Kingston for phsyio for this upcoming school year. I will apply for OSAP soon, but I doubt they will give me enough money for tuition and living expenses since I worked last year. 1)Does anybody know any good banks or programs where they offer a personal line of credit to students, especially those entering the health care field? I'm looking for things like -good interest rates -grace period after graduation to pay back funds -enough money for renting Thanks, DBZ
beandip
I have been looking into this as well. I talked to an advisor at my current bank (RBC) and they have a professional student line of credit which offers up to $45000 (minus current student debt) for someone in a physiotherapy program. Their interest rate is prime + 1% and they give you a 6 month grace period after you graduate. This sounds pretty good but I would be interested to know if there is something better. helloyou
I'm moving to Kingston as well! Good luck with everything! I'll likely be applying for a professional line of credit as well. I'm planning to go 'bank hopping' to see what's best for me.
